Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you I passed the notary exam. I took
your course at Island Trees  11/18/00 my name Richard. I found your
course to be very helpful in passing exam. I feel any one who is going to
take exam should know all the definitions as a lot of questions could be
answered just by knowing them. Also covered all felony and misdemeanor
sentences. Thanks again Richard Future Notary.

Dear Dina,

First of all i want to thank you for the great class.  I took it on 3/20/01 in
Hicksville.  I took the test today it was rather hard and a lot of the legal terms were on
there which was very hard, but hopefully I passed as I am 6 months pregnant and not able to concentrate too much with child # 2 on the way.  I never have been a good test taker but hoping for the best.  The class definitely prepared me for the test but please tell future students
to study all the legal terms and the safe deposit banking is definitely on
there..........

Thanks again

Fondly,
Donna

I PASSED THE TEST!!!!!!!

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

Hi Dina,

I took your class in March in Syosset in March.  I just wanted to let you know I just received my passing notice!!

The test went well (a lot of people when I went).  You were correct when you said they rephrase the questions.  3 times I had the same question twice.

Thank you very much.  I found your class VERY helpful.

Hello,

I took you class in Hicksville on October 10th.  I took the
test on October 24th and just learned that I passed!!

Thanks, I wanted you to know that your class seemed the most comprehensive.
The other people that were taking the test did not have the material I had.

Thanks again

-Patricia-

Dear Dina,

Hope that this short note finds you well.

I took my class with you in Oyster Bay on October 25, 2001.

Then I took your advice and took the test within the two weeks after the 25th.  As a matter of fact I took it the following Wednesday, October 25th.

And just like you said the pass or fail was in the mail before or on the 10th of the following month.  Thanks to you and the way you presented the class and your helpful materials I passed!!  I bought the Notary Public Passbook and it was a great tooI for taking the test.

Again, thank you for being the right person to teach the class.

Sincerely,

-Charleen-

Hello.  A friend of mine took your Notary Public class in Levittown.  I
live in Queens, and was wondering if your were going to teach a class in
my vacinity.  Would you please get back to me at your earliest
convenience, and if youre not going to be giving a course in Queens,
would you recommend where I would be able to attend one?  Thank you.
You can email me back at

Dina,
Thank you for your assistance in preparing a wonderful class that made it easy to pass the notary public class.  I attended a class you held in Massapequa, and took the test within 2 weeks as you suggested and passed.  In particular, I have to say how helpful your "workbook" was in terms of reviewing for the test given the questions that were asked.  As a footnote... several years ago I took a notary public class given at Farmingdale University by someone else, and found it all more confusing.  So much so that I never took the test till now.

Many thanks, and happy holidays to you and your family,

Sincerely,
-Marilyn-

Hi Dina......just wanted to let you know that I found your course to be most helpful.  I attended your course in Levittown.   I took the exam the first week of December and received my commission effective 12/24.  There were so many questions on real estate, I was quite surprised.  I'm just glad that many of the questions were exactly like you said they would be.

Thanks so much for your help.

-Doreen-

Hi,

I was in your class last week of February.
I hope you feel better. I took the notary test on March 13 in Manhattan. You covered about 95% of the material in your class, so I should have passed. As of yet I haven't received my grade but it will probably come this week. Some other test takers stated that they didn't fare well on previous tests. Others took prep classes costing over $150.00 and still failed. I referred them to you. I told them you could fail for a lot less money (just kidding). Remember the flyer that you gave out for notary supplies? Well when you go into the building on William Street to take the test, theres a guy outside handing out a similar supply flyer stating that his company is the number 1 notary supplier in N.Y.C.  His prices are approximately 50% higher than the flyer you passed out. Thanks for your help, I will keep in touch    Perry

Hi Dina, just wanted to tell you that I passed the exam.  Thank you for your
assistance.

Dina,

I was in your class at Locust Valley last Tuesday.  I took the test the next day and found out yesterday that I passed.

Thank you for the help.

Thank you for such an informative class.  I took the notary exam today at

Franklin Square at 11:00 a.m.  I think I passed the test.  I took the exam in

the back of the book last night and got 1 wrong so I decided to go for it.

It will take two weeks for the results.  I'll let you know.

 -Linda-

Dina -

I took your course in March...just wanted to let you know that I took the exam on April 10th...and PASSED!

Thanks for all of your help!

-Nicole-

I'm writing you back to let you know that I passed the test.  I am officially a
notary public.  Thought you would like to know what a good job you did.

Please email me back so that I know you received this.  Thanks.

- Linda-

hi took you class with my husband   . i did write you i passed . sorry to say my husband was not as lucky. he failed.  and they say men are smarter.  who said that.  not me.   i sent my forms in about a month ago.  ii seems they did not even cash my check yet.   does it take a long time to process? my husband said his big mistake was going over the questions and changing some of them   i did not do that. i guess trust you first choice. thank you for you time.               .

Hi Dina!

Hope everything is fine with you.  Just wanted to let you know that I passed.
I took the test on June 19th and found out on the 26th.  What helped me was
your notes and taking the tests in the Notary Public PassBook.  What an
accomplishment for me!  Sent my fee and oath of office to the Dept. of
State.  The company is going to reimbursement for  everything including my
stamp.  Can't beat that.

Thank you again and have a great 4th!

-Janet-

Thank you for instructing the notary class.  I recently received my notary
license at the beginning of July.  I applied for the test because I heard
that being a notary helped in career advancement.  I am currently a full
time teller for the Bank of New York, and also going back to school for A.S.
in Business Administration.  I'm not sure where to start, and would
appreciate any suggestions, or let me know what resources are available to
me.  If there is any type of employment you could recommend for new
notaries.  Also, is a notary and a signing agent one in the same?  I find
the websites confusing.

 Thank you again,

- Kacey-

Dina, I am pleased to report having passed the exam which I took in
Manhattan two weeks ago. Many thanks for your help with the course School and the reference booklet which is a big help.

Dina,

Hi Dina,

I just wanted you to know that I took your review course on Sept 26. I just received my passing grade on the notary test.
You were very helpful, and gave us the info. that we needed to know.
       Keep up the good work!

Thanks,
-Allison-

Dear Dina,

Yesterday, I received the results of my exam.  I am really pleased to say I passed.
I have not taken any test (that didn't involve blood) in the last 22+ years, so the discipline of studying was quite remote.
I was unable to get an up-dated version of the handbook (what I asked you about before the test).  The old handbook from 1991 was completely useless.
One question on the test that I would really like to know the answer, concerned what a notary can do out of state.  They gave 4 answers I considered wrong.  What can a notary do out of state?  Does taking an affidavit mean the same as giving an oath and signing the jurat?
 Thanks for your help.

 -Sharon-

Hi  Dina!

You won't remember me however I took your Notary  Public  preparation course  on  Monday, October  28,  2002.

Your explanations were very clear and helped me better understand the material  required for the exam.  The  results of  the Wednesday,  November 6, 2002  exam were mailed to me the other day  and  I thought you'd like to know that I  passed!

A  number of people taking the exam were there for their second/third attempts.  Those people hadn't taken any prep courses,  and had instead tried studying from the text.  I'm happy that I saw  the blurb about your course in the bulletin  and  ventured out to  take the course.  Time and money well spent.

Anyhow, keep up the great work if you still teach this course.  Thanks.

Sincerely,

Iris

Hi Dina,
Just wanted to say thank you for all of your help; I passed the test.

Have a happy and a healthy holiday.
Anita

Dear Dina,

I was one of your students 2-3 weeks ago.  My name is Lucy.  The week after the class ended I had the day off when the test was being held.  I studied very little that week because of kids and work and everything but I went to take the test just for practice.  Well, today 12/7, I got the mail and found out I passed.  I am stunned.  The test was just what you said.  There were 2 right answers to a-lot of the questions and I was unsure which was the best but went with my first instinct.  There was vocabulary and that is what I studied the most.  After the first week of class I make index cards because that was best for me.  I guess whatever I did it worked.  Thanks for all your help and tips.

Lucy

Dina;

Thank you for the Notary Public course.  I received notification that
I passed the examination and I sent my completed application in for
processing.  I appreciate your assistance.

Best Regards,
Jack

I took your class and I passed! Yeah! anyway- I sent
in the application with my $60 and I received my ID card- do I have a stamp
made or am I sent one?
Sorry if this sounds silly - but I don't remember- I feel like I shouldn't be
sharing my number with Staples! anyway- if you get a chance- could you let me
know your feelings on this? thanks
Diane

Karen

Hello  Dina:
Great news! I passed the test!   I'm so excited!     THANK
YOU    THANK YOU   FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME (your time and
patience).          I KNOW  I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP
AND EXPERTISE,   AS I NEEDED MORE EXPLANATIONS AND SIMPLIFICATION  AS
YOU SAW.  (the library notary public work book didn't supply as much info
as you did)
I'M SURE IF I DIDN'T GO TO YOUR CLASS AND KEEP CONTACTING YOU I WOULD
HAVE HAD MUCH DIFFICULTY in taking the test.
I'M VERY GRATEFUL.
I'll keep in touch with you and let you know how I do,   and good luck
with your continuing training and business.
SINCERELY,              Diana

Hello,

I PASSED MY NOTARY PUBLIC TEST!!!!

My name is Larry & I took your notary public course 2 1/2 weeks ago & I'd just like to tell you that I passed!  I will be sending in my application form this week.  FYI, my exam had 3-4 questions involving real estate law so you might want to focus on that specific area in future.  Thank you once again for the class & I hope to stay in touch with you.

I took the Notary Public Preparation Course on  November 12th with Kim Lurie.  I found out today that I passed the test.  Thank you!

Sincerely,

Kristen

Project Assistant

Dina,

I took your class back in the Fall in Lynbrook, led by Odelia Goldberg.  She did a wonderful job making that legal mumbo jumbo fun, needless to say, I passed the test and am now a Notary Public.

II am quite intrigued by anyone who gets started in their own business, especially working mothers like myself.  I read an article about you in Working Mother magazine, which led me to your website and ultimately to your class.

Thank you.

Regards,

Cathy

Dear Dina and Kim,

Thank you, I passed!

Regards,

Maureen
